Question: do you find it hard being an engineer ? who inspired your career choice along the way and helped to pursue it ?

I like being an engineer, it is challenging but rewarding. I learned about engineering when I attended a talk at a university open day. The engineer described how she used maths and art to design new devices which appealed to me because they were my favourite subjects in school but didn’t know how to do both in college. Engineering allows me to solve problems using maths and science and design and draw new ideas and devices for people who are sick. Neither of my parents are engineers or scientists – I’m the first in my family to go to college! But they were supportive of my choice 🙂
